Here I’ve prepared for you some files and instructions to make your work with my Markus K Inspired template easier.
My template for the Loopy Pro.
My template for the MorningStar MC8. However, if you have another controller, I have prepared instructions for you too.
My templates for the ToneStack PRO app. Guitar sound and bass sound.
At first, download the template file for Loopy Pro app and install it using my video instruction. In addition, 4 plugins are required for this template:
I use a Morningstar MC8 as a MIDI floor controller. Here is how buttons are working:
Pedal #1 (A) controls Loop 1
Pedal #2 (B) controls Loop 2
Pedal #3 (C) controls Loop 3
Each of the three pedals controls the corresponding loop equally:
- Tap to record
- Double tap to stop (quantized)
- Long press to clear the current loop
Pedal #4 (D) - STOP/START - Stop or start the whole project immediately. Hold to clear.
You can add the bank to your controller in the editor https://editor-mkii.morningstar.io/
If you got another MIDI controller, not MorningStar, set up the buttons like this (at least 4 pedals will be needed):
Pedal #1 – CC#101 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #2 – CC#102 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #3 – CC#103 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #4 – CC#104 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #5 – CC#105 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #6 – CC#106 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #7 – CC#107 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Pedal #8 – CC#108 (Value 127 for press, Value 0 for release)
Watch this small tutorial about how to use the Markus K template with your MorningStar MC8 controller.
If you have another MIDI controller, not MorningStar, then watch this video to connect your controller with the Markus K template.
And don’t forget to download my template for ToneStack PRO. You can install the application itself by this link from App Store.
Using this tutorial, you could import the bank from my template to ToneStack PRO app. There are three presets - Bass, Overdrive and Crunch. The third one is for fun. 🙂
